Quezon City Scholarship Grants: Up to ₱80,000 in Aid for Students

Bigger Support for Quezon City Scholarship: ₱80,000 Grant Starting 2025

If you’re a student living in Quezon City, this might be the break you’ve been waiting for.

Starting school year 2025–2026, the Quezon City government is doubling its scholarship assistance—from ₱40,000 to ₱80,000 per student—to help more QCitizens finish school without the stress of tuition and daily expenses.

Mayor Joy Belmonte made the announcement as the city opened applications for its Quezon City Scholarship Program (QCSP). You can apply online through QC eServices from June 2 to June 13.

Who can apply?

To qualify, you must:

  • Be a Quezon City resident
  • Have a valid QCitizen ID
  • Not be receiving scholarships from other LGUs

The QC Scholarship covers senior high school, college, vocational, leadership, arts, sports, and even postgraduate studies. The amount you receive depends on your scholarship category—some can get up to ₱110,000 for tuition and ₱50,000 in stipends.

New this year: The QC Excel Scholarship. It’s for incoming first-year college students who show leadership and community involvement—especially in priority courses like STEM, education, and public service.

How many students benefit?

So far:

  • Over 39,000 QC students have been granted scholarships since 2019
  • Around 14,898 scholars have already graduated
  • This 2024, 17,422 active scholars are enrolled under the program

Mayor Belmonte says the goal is to double that number by 2028, giving more QCitizens a real shot at finishing school.

“We don’t want finances to be the reason students drop out,” she said. “This is our way of making sure all QC youth get a fair chance.”

How to apply

  1. Go to https://qceservices.quezoncity.gov.ph
  2. Create an account or log in
  3. Choose the Scholarship Program application
  4. Upload required documents
  5. Submit before June 13

You’ll get updates through your email or dashboard on the same portal.
