Reminder: Minimum Wage Increase Effective April 16, 2025

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Regional Office No. III reminds all employers in Region 3 that the second phase of the wage increase under Wage Order No. RBIII-25 will take effect on April 16, 2025. This wage adjustment follows the initial increase implemented on October 17, 2024, and applies to various industries across the region.

Upcoming Wage Increase Adjustments

Employers must ensure compliance with the new minimum wage rates for workers in different provinces and industries. The updated rates are as follows:

Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac, Zambales:

  • Non-Agriculture: ₱550 (Effective April 16, 2025)
  • Agriculture: ₱520 (Effective April 16, 2025)
  • Retail/Service: ₱540 (Effective April 16, 2025)

Aurora:

  • Non-Agriculture: ₱500 (Effective April 16, 2025)
  • Agriculture: ₱485 (Effective April 16, 2025)
  • Retail/Service: ₱435 (Effective April 16, 2025)

Compliance and Business Preparations

Employers are strongly encouraged to make the necessary payroll adjustments and ensure their businesses are ready for the wage increase. Failure to comply with the mandated rates may result in penalties and legal consequences. The DOLE advises all affected businesses to review their wage structures and plan accordingly to meet the new requirements.
