Brovage Toasts a Wellness Milestone

The Quick Read

  • Brovage closed its first year with an intimate cocktail gathering of around 60 guests, a mix of patients, partners, media, and medical professionals.
  • Guests tried the Emsella chair, Exomind, and shockwave therapy firsthand, the same three treatments the clinic built its reputation on.
  • The evening carried a consistent thread through its remarks: giving Filipino men a space to talk about sexual wellness without the usual discomfort.
  • A new product launch and early partner conversations, including with Gentry Timepieces and Aivee Men, suggest the clinic’s second year is already taking shape.

Brovage closed out its first year the way it opened its clinic, deliberately small. The Brovage milestone gathering brought together roughly 60 guests on the clinic’s second floor in BGC, a mix of patients, partners, media, and professionals from the medical and aesthetic communities who came to mark the occasion, some of them stepping into the clinic for the first time.

The Guest List Mixed Familiar Faces With New Ones

Most of the night’s attendees were people already connected to Brovage, friends and partners who came specifically to support the clinic’s first year. But the Brovage milestone also pulled in first-time visitors who had never set foot in the clinic, giving them a reason to walk through the door that a regular appointment might not.

Brovage co-owner Dr. Z Teo was among those present. Dr. Alan Tan was not able to attend. The guest list also included doctors and professionals in aesthetic medicine and sexual wellness exploring potential collaborations with the clinic. The evening served as both a celebration and an opportunity to introduce potential future partners in a relaxed, informal setting.

Guests Got Hands On With the Clinic’s Signature Treatments

Rather than keep the treatments behind closed consultation room doors, Brovage let guests experience several of them directly. The Emsella chair, Exomind, and shockwave therapy, the same three treatments featured in the clinic’s wellness day discounts the day before, were demonstrated live for attendees to try.

The Emsella chair drew particular attention. The device delivers 11,000 Kegel exercises in a single session, and while it was originally developed for pelvic floor weakness and urinary incontinence, its muscle strengthening effect extends to men as well. For several guests, trying the chair in a social setting offered a lower pressure way to ask questions about a treatment they might not have raised in a clinical visit.

The Program Centered on Making a Hard Topic Easier to Discuss

The evening’s remarks followed a consistent thread. Dr. Eric opened with a reflection on the clinic’s first year, touching on why patients keep coming back. The theme that carried through the rest of the program was less about any single treatment and more about the space itself, creating somewhere men can raise sexual wellness and other sensitive concerns without judgment.

That framing matters in a country where these conversations still carry weight. Stigma around men’s sexual health remains common among Filipino men, and the Brovage milestone event reinforced the identity the clinic has built around closing that gap. Dr. Frederick Mendiola’s message at the celebration continued that same focus, encouraging more openness around sexual health and wellness generally.

What distinguished the evening from an ordinary clinic visit was the setting itself. Cocktails and conversation replaced the usual consultation room, and guests moved through the same subjects Brovage handles daily, just in a more relaxed register. It is a small shift, but one that fits the clinic’s broader approach, treating these topics as less intimidating by changing the room they happen in rather than changing the topics themselves.

The Night Pointed Toward What Comes Next

Beyond the celebration itself, the Brovage milestone carried a few signals about where the clinic is headed. A new product launch was part of the program, alongside early conversations with professionals and businesses interested in future collaboration. Gentry Timepieces set up a booth for the evening, and Aivee Men products were on display as well, adding a lifestyle dimension beyond the clinic’s usual medical framing.

Members of the media were also present, giving the Brovage milestone a second life beyond the guests who attended in person.

A year after opening quietly in BGC, Brovage spent its anniversary night doing what it has built its name on, making a difficult subject feel a little more ordinary, one conversation at a time.
