HitPay Brings Its Build with AI Workshop to Manila

Build with AI workshop

The Build with AI workshop on 27 November has beginners build a simple AI-assisted tool for one task in their business.

Quick Read

  • HitPay is running a one-day session in Taguig on Friday, 27 November, where beginners build a simple AI-assisted tool for one task in their own business.
  • HitPay is a BSP-regulated payments platform that serves merchants in four countries and runs the same workshop series in Singapore.
  • Every request to join needs host approval, and the exact venue is shared only after approval.
  • The event page lists no ticket price or hour-by-hour schedule so far.

A spreadsheet updated by hand every week. A report rebuilt every Monday. HitPay wants business owners to bring chores like these to its Build with AI workshop in Manila, set for Friday, 27 November, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Philippine time in McKinley Hill, Taguig.

HitPay is taking requests to join, and each one needs host approval. Several details are not yet public, and they are listed below.

What HitPay Is Teaching at the Build with AI Workshop

The Build with AI workshop is HitPay’s hands-on build day for small business owners. Attendees use AI to write the code for a simple tool that handles one task in their own business, and HitPay’s invitation says they can take the finished tool home.

The event page lists four topics. They are using large language models as a coding co-pilot, building working software without a developer background, picking one bottleneck in the business to automate, and starting from HitPay’s ready-made scaffolding. The invitation email calls the same material starter templates.

HitPay says the Build with AI workshop is for beginners, not for people who already have intermediate experience. The day starts with operational foundations.

HitPay Already Serves Small Businesses in Four Markets

HitPay is a BSP-regulated payments platform for small businesses, according to published reports. Under a cross-border payments partnership with Primer announced in January 2026, it continues to manage payment processing, compliance and settlement for merchants in the Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam and Malaysia. In October 2025, it announced a partnership with Ingenico on a payment terminal system, with a stated aim of equipping 10,000 Philippine SMEs over two years.

The Manila session is not a one-off. HitPay runs the Build with AI workshop as a series, with a separate listing for Singapore owners and videos from past events on the Manila page.

Who HitPay Wants in the Room

The event page says each session is designed for HitPay merchant partners, and it describes the audience as owners and operators running anything from a one-person team to a 50-person operation. The registration form asks applicants whether they are a HitPay merchant partner. It also asks for their company name, job title, industry, number of employees, and whether the business has DTI and BIR registrations and a business bank account.

The page does not say whether applicants who are not merchant partners are accepted. HitPay’s email says seats are limited and each registration is approved, which keeps the group small enough for hands-on help.

What HitPay Has Not Yet Confirmed

The exact address is shown only after a request is approved. The page names Common Ground McKinley as the official venue partner but does not give the address. It lists no ticket price and no hour-by-hour schedule.

Attendees need a laptop, and HitPay asks them to bring one task they want to stop doing by hand. HitPay’s email invites questions by reply, and the price and the merchant-partner requirement are the two worth asking about.

HitPay’s pitch for the Build with AI workshop is narrow: choose one task, and finish the day with a tool built for it.
