The Quick Read
- Nard & Myrrh, a faith-inspired fragrance brand founded by husband-and-wife team Regino and Sheryl Rondilla, is gearing up for a Q4 2026 holiday-season launch.
- Its debut release, the Origin Oils Collection, features three fragrances inspired by places in ancient Israel: Carmel Vineyard, Bethany Anointing, and Olivet Dawn.
- Each set pairs the fragrance oil with a refillable diffuser vessel shaped like an alabaster jar and carved from Romblon marble.
- The whole idea traces back to a single scene from a TV series and one verse from the Book of John, and it has since grown into a fully realized brand.
A Scene From The Chosen Sparked a Fragrance House
Somewhere in Bacoor, Cavite, a couple watched an episode of The Chosen and walked away with a business idea worth building. Regino and Sheryl Rondilla saw the moment Mary of Bethany breaks open a jar of costly perfume and pours it over Jesus’ feet, an act described in John 12:3 as filling the entire house with fragrance. Two years later, that scene has become the beating heart of Nard & Myrrh, a faith-inspired fragrance brand ready to bring scripture-inspired scent into Filipino homes.
The brand is heading toward a holiday-season debut, and the excitement is building around a first release that already feels complete.

Three Scents, One Collection
The debut lineup carries a name of its own, the Origin Oils Collection, and each fragrance draws from a specific place or moment in ancient Israel. Carmel Vineyard, Bethany Anointing, and Olivet Dawn make up the initial three, each one translating a biblical setting into a scent designed to be experienced in the home, not a generic “spiritual” fragrance with nothing behind it.
The vessel carrying those scents is a story in itself. Nard & Myrrh designed an alabaster-inspired diffuser jar, a direct echo of the perfume jar from the Gospel account, and is bringing it to life in Romblon marble. The set is refillable by design, so the vessel becomes a lasting piece in someone’s home while the oil gets replenished, turning a single gift into something a customer keeps coming back to.
Built for Everyday Life
Nard & Myrrh is designing its products for everyday home use, thoughtful gifting, and the personal moments people want to mark and remember, not just devotional spaces. The founders are approaching the launch with the same intention they put into the product itself, working closely with a fragrance manufacturer on formulation, packaging, and presentation so the brand’s first impression lands exactly as they envisioned it.
Sheryl Rondilla, Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer, captures the spirit behind the brand: “Nard & Myrrh began with a simple conviction: fragrance can do more than make a home smell beautiful. It can carry a story, mark a meaningful moment, and gently point people toward the hope we have in Jesus Christ.”

The Differentiation Is the Story
What sets Nard & Myrrh apart isn’t a single ingredient or a piece of equipment. It’s the combination: biblically inspired storytelling, scent concepts drawn from exact places and moments in ancient Israel, a gifting and unboxing experience built with real care, and craftsmanship rooted in Filipino materials like Romblon marble. That combination is the kind of thing a brand builds over years, not something a competitor can copy overnight.
Regino C. Rondilla III, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, describes the mindset behind the brand’s approach to launch: “We are building the brand with commercial discipline and faith at the center. Our next step is not to claim scale before we have earned it, but to validate the product carefully, listen to customers, and grow responsibly.”
That same care shows up everywhere in Nard & Myrrh, from the verse that started it all to the marble in the vessel and the three scents that opened the collection. After two years of intentional work, the Origin Oils Collection is now entering its final development and market-validation stage.
